So the wedding is over......it was a great time. It was suppose to be outside but saddly it pour the entire day so it had to be moved inside. It was still very nice non the less though, but still outside would have been beautiful. Anyways it was so much fun and it's hard to believe that all of my siblings are married now. I heard so many times, "now it's your turn". right right and that won't be happening for a while. It's almost 12 noon and I'm still in my pj's yeah can you tell it's a day all about relaxing. We have been non stop since last weekend. Well that's all for now.

Later y'all

It’s been a crazy weekend with lots of family bonding which is nice. I realize that I’m no longer going to take the life that I have for granted and that I am going to value each day that I have. Yeah I know that’s deep, but the way the world is today anything can happen at anytime so we might as well enjoy life while we have it, right? So what did I do? Well it started off with my brothers coming home on Saturday. We then went out to dinner that night just the parents, the kids and spouses to celebrate my parents 31st wedding anniversary. What a great night. It seriously was so much fun. It could have also had something to do with the shots and couple bottles of wine we were ordering during the night for the table. Haha normal who does shots with their family. Yeah my family may appear to be conservative at first but we are far more laid back once you get to know us. Sunday we went up to my aunt and uncle’s in Bel Air for my cousin’s graduation party. It was good….nice afternoon low key. Today we went over to my sister’s house to celebrate my niece’s 4th birthday. A typical kid’s birthday party. All in all it was a good weekend and a lot of family bonding, but I’m not complaining.

Also have been hanging out with Sarita and Karen before that nut heads off to the other side of the country for two months. haha :) good times.

The fun will continue as I head off to Philly in two days for my brother’s wedding which is Friday. Crazy times will be had that night. ;-)

So here's an update for y'all. Been hanging out causing trouble since I have been done my exams since last Monday. So in short I have had a lot of free time. I went down to the FUNK BOX last night and let me just say how much I love the fact that I don't have to get those huge, tacky "X"s on my hands anymore. I'd rather have the "FUNK BOX" tattooed to my hand virus those "X"s. There is a certain thrill to being able to order your own drink. I have never ordered so many drinks for myself and other people in one night. It was a good night and the band was great. Off to PA tomorrow for my Cross Roads trip until Tuesday and then it's officially the summer for me.
Have a good one.......

Finals week is underway which brings about stress, boredom, procrastination and me driving people insane while they study as a result of boredom. I had my writing, rhetoric and media final today. Hm joy that was exciting. What an interesting class the questions are so basic that it’s really easy to mess up. I get bugged and told a million times what a deep, analytical and detail oriented person I am. But it’s funny because all my communication classes are teaching me to tap into those talents even more so then I already do.

I’m supposed to be writing my Creative Eye final paper where I have to use all the senses. Yes, I know this sounds so easy, but have you ever sat down and tried to write a good description of a smell, touch or taste. Try it. It’s harder then it looks.

Alrighty I have to stop stalling and get to work on this crazy paper. Good luck everyone.

Although it was a cold and rainy day here in the B-MORE. It turned out to be a great day so far anyways it's not over yet. I got an IM from a guy I was in the first grade with and our paths crossed again over Spring Break. Here's what he sent to everyone this morning.

"I know I have not sent one of these in a very long time, but I felt we could all use a boost in these final weeks: Put your head on my shoulder
No need to worry about a thing
I'll be the cure for your loneliness
I'll make you feel like your whole again
And you can always count on me wherever i may be
When this world's got you feelin blue
Call on me and I'll run to you
My friend
On my wings we both can fly
Cause there's no burden big enough
And when you're hurtin baby so am I and we'll both cry
There's nothin stronger than our love
And you can always count on me, wherever i may be
Oh i'm gonna find the way
To a better day
My friend
Know that this about sums up my love for all of you. I'm always here just call and I'll come running. I love you "

How nice is that. What a great way to start your day. Definetly made my day

Then I just heard the song by U2 "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" I would put the lyrics in my it is really long.
south carolina is a great state and I would happily live there any day of the week. :) It was a great and crazy weekend as usually with the Haak Fam. I mean what do you expect when there are 14 people in your immediate family alone. That’s just crazy and God knows it’s only going to be getting bigger. I got to celebrate my birthday with the family which was really nice to have all of them there. The baptism went well, which was the whole point of me going down there. so all in all it was a nice weekend and it was fun to hang out with all my siblings again. so i'm kicking myself for reading alec's lj (ugh) oh well and i was doing so great at ending that chapter. .:sigh:. once again sometimes you crash and burn but you just have to get back on the horse sunny. Back at the great LC :) where i am face with crazy amounts of worK, projects and a confrence that i am planning this weekend. ahh the life i lead. it's going to a busy one folks. but i'm ready to go! off to have another silent AC battle with my roommate. it is only about a thousand degrees in here, but seriously what else is new. SHOCKER Y'ALL! Have a good one.

P.S. Alec just restored my faith in the male population :-D. Thanks for the laughs and the advice.

Well I realized that I am really bad at saying good bye and writing people off. Such is life right? You live and learn and sometimes you crash and burn. So here's to the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new and exciting one that lies ahead of me. I mean it's not every day that people leave for 2 years for Japan. I put my caring self out there and I feel good about it. So I might have missed the chance to truly talk, but I still was able to say "good bye". (shaking head) so weird to think that someone is just out of your life just like that. Alrighty I'll stop rambling now. Have a good one everyone. I'm off to South Carolina for the weekend.
